IGSL is one of Ireland’s leading ground investigation and geotechnical companies. For over 30 years, we have delivered high quality services in ground investigation, geotechnical laboratory testing and geotechnical consultancy services to the construction and civil engineering industry.
In recent years, we have expanded our services and offer advice, design and reports on

Our aim is to provide independent advice and promote practical and cost effective solutions to meet our clients needs.
Our directors are well established in the geotechnical industry and a key to our success is the quality of our engineers and technicians.
We invest heavily in training and development and have established strong links with leading third level institutions (UCD, Carlow IT & University of Portsmouth).

Our laboratories in Naas perform testing and analysis of soils, rocks, aggregates, concrete and bituminous materials. Our materials laboratory has attained INAB accreditation for a range of tests.
In addition, we provide specialist testing for suspected pyrite in underfloor fill material and sulfate attack on concrete.
Health & Safety
IGSL place great emphasis on health and safety and associated training with all of our field crews and engineering staff. We employ a full time Health & Safety Officer, who in conjunction with our safety committee is responsible for creating a safe working environment for our employees. Our field operatives and engineers attend training courses in emergency and occupational first aid, manual handling, traffic management, CAT & Genny and use of nuclear density equipment. We produce method statements and risk assessments for all our field activities and comply with current codes of practice and industry standards.
